Signs of growth are on the up in many industries. Whilst it's been a lean, challenging time for agencies, there's never been better opportunity to get ahead of the competition now recruitment is moving again, according to the recent Business in Britain report by Lloyds Bank.
HR departments have been vastly slimmed down or disbanded as a result of the recession, and newly-expanding companies are up against enough of their own challenges to sustain their growth to devote the time towards hiring new recruits in-house. The Business in Britain survey reported that 32% of the 1,500 companies interviewed admitted they faced difficulties with securing skilled staff.
14% went as far to say employment was their greatest threat.
Given such a lack of confidence, recruitment agencies effectively have a green light to swoop in and demonstrate their abilities to match the perfect candidate to the perfect role. 27% of businesses stated in the Lloyds report that they expect to recruit new staff in the first half of this year: clearly, the time is now.
Employers, rusty and out of the loop when it comes to recruiting, should therefore welcome a guiding hand and an attractive array of pre-screened, talented candidates. It's far more costly for them to unsuccessfully recruit themselves, in both time and money, than pay an agency's fees. They'll be far more inclined to outsource such a task, considering the rebuilding of a solid work force is the biggest threat to their existence.
Attracting these jaded employer clients before your competitors – who will be just as clued up about the state of the market – will be easier with the right recruitment website design. Fast Recruitment Websites can give you a head start in the race to fill the growing number of vacancies as soon as they're created.
